Your list was submitted successfully. Be sure to store your Username
and Couple ID, as you will be unable to retrieve your data without both.
If your partner has already submitted their list, your results are now available for retrieval.
Otherwise, share your Couple ID with your partner so they may submit their list.
Your list will be available for processing for one month.
This is a web tool created by a medical student designed to help medical students
through the NRMP Couples Match. It takes each participant's personal rank of each program
and generates a sorted list with rank pairs based on average rank and distance.
How does submitting individually work?
Submitting individually allows each partner to submit their personal ranks separately so
your ranks can be a little more candid. If you and your partner choose to submit
individually, you will need to share a Couple ID and each enter a Username. You can
retrieve your rank list as soon as both parties have submitted their personal ranks.
Enter your ranks and click Submit Ranks.
Create your Username.
If your partner has not already submitted, create a Couple ID.
Save your Username and Couple ID.
Share your Couple ID with your partner so they may submit their list.
After both you and your partner have submitted your lists, click Retrieve
Results to get your combined rank list.
Is my data stored or used in any way?
If you enter your ranks jointly, your ranks are temporarily stored only if you choose
to export your list to Excel. If enter your ranks separately, the only identifying
information stored is the Username which you provide.
All data is cleared from the server periodically. While I will never share or use any
stored data for any reason, I still recommend using an alias as your username. This website
is open source as per the link in the upper right.
Can I resubmit my personal rank list using the same Couple ID?
Yes. If you submit a second personal rank list with the same Username and Couple ID, your
first list will be overwritten.
How are locations and distances measured?
Distances are measured using the Haversine Formula on the coordinates listed on the cities
provided by each program in the ERAS Registry. As such, distances are essentially straight-
line distances between two points and do not reflect travel distance by road. Rank Pairs
further than the supplied distance are still shown - just sorted lower than those within
the distance.
